Presidency of John Adams (1797-1801)
After being the 1st vice president for George Washington, John Adams became the 2nd president of the United States. Adams was born in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was a Harvard-educated lawyer and also was a delegate at the First and Second Continental Congresses. He is a Founding Father of the United States.
